Kimoun mwen ye? Who am I?
My name is Jeaunace Ceid. I am from Carice. I am 42 years old. I
became a Christian in March 1997. In the same way Jesus said in Mark
16:15, 16 that people who are baptized are those who are saved. In
this way I believed when I was baptized. Since then, I have entered
into the work of God; I am a preacher in the church and a teacher in
the school of the church of Christ of Carice.
For now I have left this work for a time to come to Cap Haitien to the
CBT so that I can get more learning in the word of truth. I want to
take it as we read in 2 Tim. 2:15 which says that we should work to
get praise from God like a worker who isn't ashamed of the work he
does, a worker who work to know God's truth.
I was married in 1998. We had great suffering so that my wife could
have children. God showed us grace, and gave us two children: a little
boy named Sonothonax II who is 6 and a little girl named Jonialdine
who is 4.
This is very important: now I have left my church and school which are
my only support for my family. I left my family too so that I could
come and receive Bible training at the CBT.
During the first week of classes at
the CBT, David asked each student
to write a brief answer to the
question "Kimoun mwen ye?"
"Who am I?" This is Jonas Ceid's
response.
