Kimoun mwen ye? Who am I?
My name is Edouard Clervil . I was born in Bahon. I left there and now
live in my mother's home town, Bas la Riviere. My mother is Susan;
my father was Manora. My father died when I was three months old.
He had been married to my mother for one year. I was born in a
Christian family.
I finished all my schooling in two schools near where I live, by my
mother's efforts. In order for me to finish my education, I started
teaching early (that is, before he graduated high school - DD). I am a
teacher in the church's school, and I go to church at Bas La Riviere.
While I was growing in the church and serving as Bible class monitor,
they chose to send me to the CBT at Galman du Plaa to be better
equipped to teach the Bible. Now I am working to become a preacher
for Christ.
I do many things at the church where I live. I am president of the
youth group in my area; I am secretary of a local neighborhood
organization; I am responsible for teaching the youth how they can
come to have eternal life. Finally, I am one who is working to give good
training on how a person needs to live his life in Christ.
During the first week of classes at
the CBT, David asked each student
to write a brief answer to the
question "Kimoun mwen ye?"
"Who am I?" This is Edouard
Clervil's response.
Red star marks Bas la Riviere.
