Kimoun mwen ye? Who am I?
My name is Charles Calixte. I was born in Bordemere Limonade in a
family with three children, of whom I am the youngest. I lived in Cap
Haitien with a family there, and I completed primary and secondary
school. I studied accounting and education, and I work as a teacher in
primary and secondary school. I work with the church as a preacher in
a congregation in Bordemere. I am not married but I have a young
lady who is my fiancee who is still in school.
I work as a businessman and an accountant for a small business.
When I was in school, I liked mathematics, physics and chemistry very
well. It wasn't hard for me to learn them. I like the ocean, soccer and
dogs. I like simple things, not common things. I do not like chicken. I
love God.
During the first week of classes at
the CBT, David asked each student
to write a brief answer to the
question "Kimoun mwen ye?"
"Who am I?" This is Charles
Calixte's response.
