How has your time at the CBT helped you personally?

It is a great pleasure for me to say a great thank you to
everyone who directs and is responsible for the Bible school
CBT and everyone who works together to allow many
Haitian people to come and gain more knowledge of the
Bible.  For me personally, it has been an assurance for my
soul because during this time and through the courses I
have come to understand what kind of God I'm serving and
how to do His will.  I can say this has helped me gain
experience and more maturity in the work of God and in my
life.

Has the CBT helped you in your ministry?

Today, I'm proud to say how the school has made a great
change in me.  How?  It helped me grow spiritually.  It gave
me more knowledge in the word of God.  It allowed me to
gain more experience as a preacher and a Christian.  I
came to know I have another family.  Also, it helped me
understand how God has conferred on me a great work
that has a lot of value.

What advice would you give to a new student?

They should look for the will of God more each day.  They
should also respect the principles and discipline that have
been established, because God is a God who loves when we
walk in order and discipline.  Also, how we obey shows God
how much we love Him.  (Jn. 14:15)

What has been most difficult during your time at the CBT?

I don't consider one thing as most difficult, because my life
is not something that's easy.  Sometimes there were times
that were more difficult, but in James 1:12 there is a
blessing for people who bear up under suffering with
patience.  Always in my head is the question of how I am
responsible for the church, and it is I who have progressed
in my family and finished my education.  How am I going to
go on after these three years finish, because my parents
are elderly, and I am their hope?  Because I'm human, I
think about these things, and these thoughts cause me a lot
of stress.  But God in His plan allows me to adapt and know
that He Himself is there in those difficult time.

What are your plans after graduation?

I can say that God in his love has a plan for everyone.  For
this reason He has chosen me to return to where I've come
from so that I can go and share others what I have learned
in the Bible.  I would also go to places that have not heard
the good news.  I am going back to help the church grow in
knowledge and truth.  As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, for
tomorrow you will receive what you wait for according to
the plan God has in His plan for you.  This is all my hope and
in my heart.
During their final trimester of classes, we
asked each student some questions about
their experience at the CBT.  This is Diony's
response.
