How has your time at the CBT helped you personally?
The three years I've spent at the CBT have helped me a lot
in my life. I have received a lot of training. Before, I did not
know to wash my dishes after I ate. Since I've come to
school, I've been trained to wash my dishes after every
time I eat.
Has the CBT helped you in your ministry?
The school has helped me very much in my ministry. I did
not know before how to teach from the context of a
passage. This caused me to teach many errors in my
preaching. But when I came here, I learned to look for the
context of a verse before I speak, also the time when it
was written. This has helped me very much in my ministry.
What advice would you give to a new student?
They ought to take their studies seriously and study their
lessons. They should be gentle and respect everyone in the
school. They shouldn't make problems with the directors.
They should follow the rules of the school.
What has been most difficult during your time at the CBT?
The most difficult time for me was going home to my
younger brother and sister at home. My parents have died,
and I have helped my younger brother and sister go to
school and in other little things. I have not been able to do
anything for them. They have suffered a little without the
things I have been able to do for them, and it has been hard
for me.
What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation, I would love to make everyone in my area
hear the word in the way God would have me teach.
During their final trimester of classes, we
asked each student some questions about
their experience at the CBT. This is Madsen's
response.
