How has your time at the CBT helped you personally?
Personally, the three years I have spent at the CBT have
been very, very good for me because I have gotten more
knowledge of the Bible so I can do the work of Christ better
and I feel I can work.
Has the CBT helped you in your ministry?
Before I came to school, there were many things in the
Bible I did not understand, but because I came to the
school, I understand them. I have more training so that I
can work as a minister better. Because of the school, I can
preach and teach better.
What advice would you give to a new student?
This is the advice I would give to a new student: you make
a choice if you choose to come to the Bible school. You will
become stronger spiritually and socially.
What has been most difficult during your time at the CBT?
The most difficult thing for me was thinking of my family. I
didn’t know how they would live without my help. But I
have come to understand that God knows all things, and I
have left everything in his hands.
What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation, I will still be busy in the service of the
church. I will be able to devote more time to the work. I
will work in the church office two days a week from 8 in the
morning to noon to counsel people about their problems. I
plan to help children in the church who do not have help and
widows. I plan to have services 4 days a week, plus Sunday
afternoons. I want to reach out to areas that have not
been touched by the gospel. Preaching the gospel of Christ
is the only work I plan to do.
During their final trimester of classes, we
asked each student some questions about
their experience at the CBT. This is Jackson's
response.
